  Analog Input Sensors

Control system sensors and their reliability, is what makes the controller so important to the safe and efficient operation of the equipment and facility.  These inputs, specifically the analog inputs require very sensitive and highly accurate delivery.  Sensors must be mounted in the field in order to bring the critical signals to the controller.

Pressure Transducer

Many times, these sensors are mounted in areas of extreme heat (compressor discharge), or extreme cold (-30 freezer rooms @ 40ft in the air).  These conditions often lead to a lack of attention.  Many times they only get replaced when the input has had an adverse effect on the program logic, and thus the proper operation of the building or equipment.

Air Flow (CFM)

M&B offers a wide variety of sensors with our control system, and can provide them to you for your existing controller.  We offer the following common sensors:

  • Type III Thermistors

  • 100 ohm & 1000 ohm Platinum RTD's

  • Humidity Transmitters

  • CT's for Motor amps

  • Pressure Transducers

  • Air Flow (CFM)

  • Many other specialty sensors

Keypads & Touch Screens

M&B Systems uses several different styles of keypads and touch screens for use with our controllers, depending on the customers needs.  There are several different manufacturers we have had experience with.  There are PC based PANEL1000-370 X1touch screens operating with Windows XP, and be running  Iwatch2 graphics and using Modbus RTU protocol.  We also have units using PC touch screens with Windows 2000 and running Rockwell Software (RS View) making use of the Ethernet Modbus Protocol.

Maple Systems offers three different types of stand alone keypads and touchscreens, which use the Modbus port on the PcmNet to read and write date to and from the controller.

The 2 line display, OIT3160B can store up to 500 user-definable screens. Each screen can display as little or as much information as you choose. There is no wasted space – you have control over the entire screen. The following screen types are available to help you clearly communicate to the operator.  With the ability to embed up to 25 controller register monitors anywhere in each screen, message screens can convey information to the operator in an easy to read format while allowing the operator to change data in the controller. In addition, message screens can be chained together to form messages longer than the display size.

The 4 line display, the OIT3175A offer an innovative new feature that allows you to choose the exact keys that your application requires. In the past, you had to search for an operator interface terminal with just the right combination of keys; and when you couldn't find the perfect keypad layout, you had to settle for something different. Now, with the user-definable keypad feature standard on the OIT3175A, it is easy to have the exact keypad layout you want; whether that includes function keys, a number pad, no keys at all, or almost any combination you can think of.

The 6" Touch Screen may be inexpensive, but that doesn't mean we compromised on features. With a 256-color bright TFT display, 4-wire analog resistive Touch Screen and 2 MB Flash PROM, the HMI520H can do everything our other models do with the same power and speed.
We've made it easy to connect the HMI520H in any way you might need. The HMI520H can be connected in a daisy-chain HMI to HMI format. And with seamless support for more than 80 controller families from industry-leading manufacturers, as well as the Modbus RTU protocol, our HMI520H can be connected to the controllers you use.
The 256-color display allows you to create bright, eye-catching graphics. Import colorful bitmaps with 256-color images and scale them to the size you want. Available transparent coloring allows you to layer objects for more interesting and informative displays.
With 4-wire, analog resistive technology you can create or import fully scalable graphics that can be sized down to the pixel. Place objects anywhere on the screen without being limited to touch-cell placement. Our technology allows you to create the screens you want exactly the way you want them.
The HMI520H offers all the space for all the screens you need.

  • 2 MB Flash PROM enables up to 1999 screens for even the most complex applications and quick graphics response.

  • Pop-up windows expand screen capacity

  • Like the price, but not so sure 6" is enough space? Use pop-up windows to expand the capacity of your screens. Place graphs, input devices and meters in pop-up windows you can open and close with a touch. Up to six pop-up windows can be open at a time.
